Interior and design journalist, author and stylist Holly Marder has photographed the beautiful home of Interior stylist Hedda Paier and her husband Michael Lenstra. They live in a beautiful home with three floors in the Hague from 1800. A very old home, but through the space, the light and the authentic details, they were completely sold. Of course they do have had to grow the House work and the interior design all the way to taste. Below you can see the special result. What do you guys think of it?

Office on the ground floor

As said it was been a tough job around the House all over again. Hedda decided to set up her home office on the ground floor, where you get instant ends up as you enter. A large window facing the street ensures that this space has wonderful natural sunlight. This makes this the perfect place for the Interior stylist for its customers.

Bright living kitchen with pastel colors

On the ground floor you can also find the kitchen. A wonderful large living kitchen, where Hedda and Michiel spend the most time as a family with their daughter Stella. Initially, Hedda would be a little afraid what dark in the kitchen, because the Windows were not so great here. But she is proud how it ultimately extracted. They’ve opted for a tight light gray cast floor with underfloor heating, and this combined with a modern dark brown kitchen and a timeless baby blue Smeg fridge (same as that I have at home!). In the kitchen is also the large wooden dining table, surrounded by an eclectic mix of six Dining chairs.

Scandinavian style

The living room can be found on the first floor, which Hedda has decorated with a Scandinavian style. Characterized by a beautiful white geschilderende hardwood floors, natural light and a mix of both new and second-hand furniture and accessories. Super cute elements of light of course keep, interspersed with special accessories with geometric shapes. The Interior exudes a lot of freshness and clear skin. White is the dominant color, but is heated by nice pastel colors.

Fun kids rooms

Stella sleeps in her super cute decorated children’s room on the third floor. Here was joy, but also a functional space the main spearheads. Soon expect Hedda and Michiel the arrival of their second child. Without knowing whether it’s a boy or girl is, they have been called the baby room designed and furnished. A neutral baby room so with mostly green and yellow shades in the color palette.

What a lovely home!
