Former orphanage & Japanese restaurant
The interior designer was quite a while looking for a suitable property in Ixelles. That was not easy in this relatively expensive and nice neighborhood, with fine shops, cosy restaurants and regular events. In 2009 she came this Pearl, who then as restaurant for sale. It took a lot of imagination and creativity to get through it. This was true both for the format and the style of the Interior. But the beautiful high stairwell and the large courtyard terrace, where you can hear the birds singing, have her eventually persuaded.
Interior with Moroccan & Scandinavian influences
To make the Interior all the way to her own taste, Muriel had to work hard. There is so much changed. For example, there is a second bedroom. To get more natural light in the home, she has also replaced the wall overlooking the garden with a large glass wall. And even the entrance has a different location.
But the best is of course the decor and styles of the Interior. Muriel is the best in there. She excels in creating a poetic and serene atmosphere, where harmonious and contrasts. You can see this clear back in the final result, where much attention has been paid to detail. A beautiful color palette of white and sand color, and with both Moroccan and Scandinavian influences.
