Here I’ve been lots of lovely offices. Large well known head offices of Google and Facebook for example, but also smaller but super fat styled offices of advertising agencies. The office layout that today I want to show you is by far the most particular. And it is still a design of Dutch soil. The designers Alrik koudenburg and Joost van Bleiswijk worked together to design the Office for advertising agency ‘ Nothing ‘ from Amsterdam.
The special feature of the Office, is that everything is actually made of cardboard. The designers were the creators a modular system, made of nothing but cardboard, based on a technique that Joost van Bleiswijk refers to ‘ No Screw, No Glue ‘. So are the desks, conference tables, cabinets, the walls of the meeting rooms and even the stairs made of cardboard. I don’t know how they have achieved, but I am impressed! You?
