A while ago, I show you a nice bedroom of a loft located in Barcelona, which which was designed by the architects of Egue y Seta. Today I want to tell you the special living room show. A very special loft living room with beautiful materials and exceptional solutions and ideas.
Industrial details
Where the bedroom is more warm and intimate, the living room is very tough and industrially decorated with typical materials that belong in a loft apartment. Tough concrete floor, concrete ceiling with thick brick walls and exposed pipes, restored bit of a chilly colour palette with gray as the main color.
The living room has a big tough open kitchen with stainless steel cabinets combined with a wooden worktop, industrial hanging lights and bar stools. The wooden dining table with the six white Eames chairs stands between the open kitchen and the seating area of the living room.
Sitting area in the floor
The most special part of the living room has to be the seating area. There is, as it were, a large square hole made in the floor, making the seating area is a lot lower than the rest of the living room. This section is actually only from the custom made sofa that three sides of the square occupied.
