Historical ground floor with authentic details
After a long house hunting came Jessica and her husband Olivier their ideal property to Amsterdam. A historic ground floor apartment with a living space of approximately 92m2. The house has beautiful original features including high ceilings, old fireplaces, ornate window and door frames and colorful stained glass. Despite the simple non-ideal base, the couple knew right away that this was it. The beautiful original details were enough for them to look through walls. With the ugly colors, ugly floor, old kitchen and bathroom Indeed, they found the house perfect!
Interior decorating to your own taste

That’s why they have chosen an open kitchen where the light could come from several directions. The kitchen was a real part within the living room. She has chosen a minimalist stylish kitchen without wall cabinets. In this way there was created an open character, whether in the kitchen itself. Most of the storage space was found in the small kitchen island.
Scandinavian and Dutch design
What interior style is concerned, Jessica was mainly inspired by the Scandinavian but also Dutch design style. Her historic house with authentic details she has decorated with a fresh mix of both new and old design furniture and accessories. Jessica loves to surf decor blogs and websites.
