The following property is not a Scandinavian house from Stockholm or Copenhagen. It is an apartment located in our own Den Haag, designed by Global Architects. The Hague architects specializing in the design and supervision of new construction and renovation (renovation) projects for individuals (DIY), its construction groups and companies, have breathed new life into this old typical apartment. And look how beautiful it has become!
Scandinavian design with distinctive details
The interior designers had one major goal for the renovation. The characteristic features of the old building and the traditional use of the rooms had to be restored in an efficient and contemporary way. They are based on this idea a home created with a Scandinavian-inspired interior design, where the characteristic details has become an important part of the personality of the house.
So the ceilings with decorative elements, the bold brick walls emerged again and is the original chimney with the concrete structure a real eye-catcher of the interior.
The main part of the house consists of a living room with dining and cuisine. These two areas are separated by a modern ensuite closet, which on the living room side functions as a bookcase, and on the kitchen side as storage for the washing machine and refrigerator.
