The Billy bookcase is perhaps the most popular cabinet from IKEA. But IKEA has much more closet systems that are very popular. The Besta cabinet for example, officially the BESTÅ cabinet. Because of the weird Å, i love it but just on Besta. The Besta series consists of simple cabinets, which are available in various sizes, colors, materials, legs and doors. And this is the fun of it. You can namely arranging your own unique dream closet.
Besta cabinets design
Some people make their own IKEA Besta dresser. Others create a huge Besta wardrobe for the living room. Others designs with the Besta cabinets TV stand. I’ve even seen examples of hacked Besta cabinets, whereby the original cabinets combined with other boards, which are not from IKEA. This makes this system so special and fun. Although it is IKEA, which actually is a mass unit. But no Besta cabinet is basically the same.
IKEA has even developed a special BESTÅ planner so that people can plan their closet.
