Tough bathroom of industrial villa

The Bathroom I want to show you today, I have found in the portfolio of studio Virginia Kerridge. They have in Sydney an abandoned industrial building from 1900 converted into a unique villa, which is now inhabited by a family with a child.

For the conversion, it was important to the original structure and the associated details of coverage. The entire building was gutted, with only the structure as a basis that was left. Below I have also two pictures of the building after the conversion, but it is especially the beautiful bathroom I very special find. You also may be able to find some great bathroom ideas.

Wooden shelves

The bathroom design fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the building. Industrial use of beautiful, tough and durable materials. The original wooden beams are very well visible, and give the bathroom extra character. But also the concrete floor and the wooden shelves for bathroom wall are beautiful and very tough. This wooden planks are also used to the side of the bath.

Vintage bathroom

To create more contrast and dynamics in the bathroom, the other long wall is fully tiled with simple rectangular white tiles. To this wall you also find the sleek modern furniture, where the floating bathroom sink in is processed. Just like the large oblong mirror, has the bathroom furniture is bit of a vintage style. The pendant light with the Red wire and carbon wire light bulb fits here perfectly with.
