This walk in closet, how far you can call it a walk in closet, belongs to a small charming apartment located in Berlin. With a surface area of only 53m2, were the interior designers of Mela & Venamo to pay the fine in this matter. Despite the limited space, the owner wanted anyway have a walk in closet. A challenge, but not impossible. See below the result for the chosen solution.

DIY walk in closet
The apartment had only one room, so it was the only solution to integrate the walk in closet in the bedroom. Due to the length of the bedroom, this is certainly not impossible. The advantage is that the room is very light through the windows and doors to the balcony. Moreover, it is provided with a high ceiling. Everything seems much more spacious.
What is also special is that there was not chosen for a standard walk closet that you can buy at IKEA. They have chosen to make one. With iron chains hangs a long red pipe to the ceiling. This serves as a clothes rack where clothes can be hung. Think of jackets and shirts. For stuff like underwear and socks there are some drawers positioned below the rack. There is also a great treasure placed. Here other belongings are stored.
So you see again that with a little creativity and skill can create a nice walk in closet.
